My go to place for Caribbean food in New Jersey. The price is very good and the portions are appropriate for the prices . My only advice is to call ahead, if you decide to place an order in the location there is a long wait . I usually get the soups , jerk chicken, ox tail and curry goat all appetizing. Highly recommend this spot at the Hamilton/Trenton border .

The food and service is good here. I highly recommend. I usually order festival or jerk chicken. I yet to try the snapper however I heard it's amazing.

the ox tail are absolutely amazing. I get lunch here every now and then and it always tastes great and is worth the money. i personally haven't tried them but i hear the juices are great too. the service is always good and fairly quick. it is definitely more of a takeout place but the vibe inside the restaurant is nice, it's always clean and good music playing.

My mom's cooking is #1... this place is #2. Never in my life have I had Jamaican food be in the same caliber as my mom's. I ordered a large stew chicken, mac & cheese, and rice and peas. Because we ordered through DoorDash, I was able to specify the parts of the chicken I wanted. One thing I can say, they were not stingy with the food or sides at all. The stew chicken was cooked well. For the rice and peas, they used the right type of rice (IYKYK). The Mac and cheese was not baked (with a crunchy top) but was a nice side. This was the best Jamaican food I have had outside of my home.

The food is delicious , we had the curry goat and the jerky chicken and we ate it all !!

I'm the past week, I've eaten here three times and had enough food for dinner from my lunch meal. The food is sooooooo delicious. The service is awesome. I call for lunch, they say 15 min, I show up in 15 min and they are ready to go. I absolutely loved the jerk and my coworkers loved the veggie Pattie's and oxtails. The callaloo and cabbage are both so flavorful and the Mac isn't bad at all! I'm def a fan!

First time going and it definitely didn't come to disappoint! The food was fresh, hot and had lots of flavor! Mhmmm I'm definitely going back! Customer service is really good

My first time at Bamboo did not disappoint. I got 2 meals - jerk chicken and oxtail and they were amazing. They were out of plantains so I got Mac and cheese. They gave a lot of rice for the price. I would have liked a bit more meat. For drink: I got the pineapple ginger drink. It was decent. There's parking right in front of the service. Overall I'd be back.

Very quick order and pick up service through Grubhub. Very tasty stew chicken and cabbage. The Mac and cheese was not bad, just not to my liking. I'm definitely coming back to try some oxtails and rice & peas.

Ordered a veggie platter which consisted of rice and peas, cabbage, and collaloo. I asked for some brown stew gravy on the rice which they had no problem doing. The place is very clean and updated. The woman who took my order was very pleasant although it took a bit but that's the be expected. Total came out to $11.00 for a medium platter; small wasn't an option. Good had really good flavor. Just a warning that it was spicy. I happen to like my food spicy so it wasn't a problem but be warned that you will taste a kick. The call all tasted fresh. The cabbage was also fresh and tasty and looked like good quality cabbage. The rice and peas also looked good and tasted very good. The rice wasn't overly cooked at all and tasted just right. If there was only one complaint it was the lack of enthusiasm of the worker in front. I asked if my order was ready and I received a look as if I was bothering him as he placed my food order on the counter without saying anything. I was going to address it but I was in a rush. Overall the food was good and I plan on ordering it again.
